We are delighted to be partnering with a fast growth entertainment start up in their search for an ambitious Chief Financial Officer. This position is newly created and will be key within the leadership team, working directly alongside the Founder. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of an entertainment company at the heart of entertainment and culture.
As CFO, you will be responsible for owning the entire finance function—strategy, operations, compliance, and planning. You’ll guide key decisions on growth, fundraising, and profitability while managing a small, agile finance team.
What You’ll Do:
- Partner closely with the Founder on strategic planning and business operations
- Build and lead the financial infrastructure as we scale
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Develop and present financial models to investors and stakeholders
- Implement systems, controls, and best practices for sustainable growth
- Support future fundraising efforts, including investor relations and due diligence
- Manage a small team and work cross-functionally with creative, operations, and marketing teams
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations
What We’re Looking For:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
- 8+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally with time at a startup and/or in media/entertainment
- Experience in a CFO or senior finance leadership role
- Proven track record of scaling finance functions through rapid growth
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and creative environment
- Passion for entertainment & music essential!
